Don’t you just hate it when you get an email/text/IM from a friend, and you aren’t sure whether they’re being sarcastic or not?  I mean the thing can be one giant pustule of sarcasm and you can always find a way of reading it seriously.  The problem is that you don’t know how to proceed… 

Do they realize the difficulty in picking up tone on the internet?

Do I take it as sarcasm and do the opposite of what they said?

Nah, I’ll just delete it.  It never happened.
